Our beloved Mother, Anna Ly Nguyen passed away at 01:10 AM on Sunday March 29, 2015 with the presence of all nine children by her side in Renton, Washington. She was born on December 31, 1931, in Hanoi, Vietnam. Her mother had passed away when she was young. She was married to our devoted father, who also passed away in Vietnam in January 1992. Although she did not hold any college degree nor knowledge of house building, she has built many nice houses and became a realtor herself to support our family. She had raised nine children - four girls and five boys - Lucie (with two sons and four grand kids), Cecilia (with a daughter), Frank (with a son), John (with three daughters), Thomas (with three daughters and a son), Teresa (with two sons), Maria (with a daughter and a son), Paul (with two daughters), and Dustin (with a daughter and a son). Together with all in-laws, we are a family of 42! She moved to Washington in 1992. Our Mom has then spent the rest of her time living with Cecilia's family, her second oldest daughter until she passed away happily surrounding by all of her kids. Our Mom was an active member of the Vietnamese Martyr Parish, and she has involved with various charity activities here in America and in Vietnam, too. Her interests including rosary praying, housekeeping, baking, cooking, gardening, and sewing. Every night, our Mom never forgot praying the Rosary before going to bed. She has devoted most of her time and energy to be as a voluntary caregiver and childcare giver to each of her children and grandchildren. Our Mom survived by her children and grandchildren. She has happily rested in peace in God's hands.
